You’re invited to the Teddy Bears’ annual storytelling picnic! Peter Rabbit brought Mama Rabbit’s blueberry pie and he’ll tell you all about how he got them from Farmer McGregor. Little Red Hen brought some freshly baked bread that she baked all by herself. And there’s a big pot of steaming hot stone soup for everyone to share! Sing a song or two with the Teddy Bears and grab some snacks as you settle in to listen, because these stories are sure to have your tummy rumbling!

Daisy Mitchell
Daisy has always had a knack for theatre. She studied in the School Of The Arts (SOTA) for four years, where she majored in Theatre. A recent graduate with First Class Honours from the BA Musical Theatre programme at LASALLE College of the Arts, Daisy is also an Associate Young Storyteller at The Storytelling Centre Ltd. Her storytelling credits include The Hidden (dir. Kamini Ramachandran) for SIFA 2018, Terrific Tales at The Artground, and TEXTURES 2019 at The Arts House. Some of her performing credits include Hunyak in Chicago, Mayzie LaBird in Seussical and Nachum in Fiddler on the Roof.
Jeremy Leong
A graduate from LASALLE, Jeremy is an Associate Young Storyteller at The Storytelling Centre Limited. His storytelling credits include SIFA 2018 commission The Hidden (dir. Kamini Ramachandran), and Terrific Tales, a weekly storytelling performance held at The Artground. His stage credits include SmartyPants & the Swordfish (dir. Samantha Scott-Blackhall) and The Greatest Treasure in the World (dir. Peggy Ferroa), a National Museum Singapore commission as part of the British Museum exhibition. He is a drama educator for preschool children and co-founder of the Zip Zap Zoom collective where he creates arts experiences for young audiences.
Fahim Murshed
At the age of nine Fahim discovered he could save himself from his mother’s beatings by making her laugh instead. It was at this moment he set his heart on becoming a performer. He found his passion for theatre doing improvisation and moved onto plays and musicals in secondary school. Fahim has been part of many productions, from drama productions at Anglo Chinese School to an amateur theatre collective called The Callbacks. A recent graduate of the Performance Diploma from LASALLE, he is an active Young Storyteller at The Storytelling Centre Ltd. He looks forward to working with all the creative people he admired while growing up.
Charlotte Elizabeth
Charlotte has been on stage since the age of 8 and to this day she has been acting, singing and dancing in front of an audience. She has performed in a wide variety of shows, from immersive theatre productions such as Andsoforth’s Alice in Wonderland and Tales of Grimmsneyland to storytelling for children at StoryFest 2018. She told stories to adult audiences during Storytelling Speed Dating for Goodman B-Sides. She was also part of a tandem storytelling roving experience for A Night of Terrifying Tales produced by Moonshadow Stories at The Arts House as part of TEXTURES 2019. A recent graduate of the Diploma in Performance at LASALLE, she is an active Young Storyteller at The Storytelling Centre Ltd.
Athena Wee
Athena discovered her love for performing at a tender age of nine during her first drama class. Since then, she has gone on to pursue that passion in Chung Cheng High, and is a recent graduate from the Diploma in Performance at LASALLE. She has been in several productions, both on-stage and on-screen, such as in Musang Berjanggut and Vidsee’s Queen of Hearts. She also played the role of Mother in Haresh Sharma’s ‘Lizard’. Her film credits include playing a lead role in NTUC’s short film for International Women’s Day 2019. Athena plays the ukulele and is a skilled ballerina who recently started training en pointe and is excited to discover different aspects of herself through the arts. Athena is an active Young Storyteller at The Storytelling Centre Ltd.
