Aden is a percussionist and arts educator who facilitates community drum circles and rhythm-centred events. A business school graduate, he completed his ABRSM music examinations in both practical percussion music and music theory. He pursued the Trinity Guildhall drum kit examinations after. He is passionate to build his knowledge of music-making and pedagogy and has also completed several music facilitation training sessions by Arthur Hull (Village Music Circle) and more.

He strongly believes that to be a well-rounded educator, obtaining qualifications in both academic and arts education is crucial for any arts practitioner. To date, Aden has achieved a Specialist Diploma in Arts Education from National Institute of Education (NIE) Singapore, Diploma in Creative Entrepreneurship from Emily Hill Institute of Creative Enterprise (EHICE), Working and facilitating the Learning of Children with Special Needs from Social Service Institute (SSI) and Teaching the Arts in An Early Childhood Environment (SEED Institution).

As an artist, Aden has performed at various events including the 2015 SEA Games Carnival and multiple National Day performances in Singapore. On an international stage, Aden has participated in festivals such as Bell Harbour Summer Festival in Ireland and Buoyeong and Pungmul Festival South Korea. This led him to pick up knowledge in other indigenous instruments such as the Native American flute and Irish Bodhran.

As an art educator, Aden has been the Head Facilitator for many rhythmcentric events and public community events for a wide range of audiences including young people, corporates, individuals with special needs, at-risk youths and the elderly. Most recently, he facilitated the Largest Drum Circle in the World for Peace & Global Unity in Johor Bahru, Malaysia in 2018 for 200 strong participants.

Currently, Aden works with OneHeartBeat Pte Ltd as an Artist Facilitator and as a Head of Artistic Affairs. He is also a freelance musician and arts educator that does community and private events.
