Stephanie Dogfoot (she/they) has been writing and performing since 2008. She is an award-winning spoken word poet who has won national poetry slams in Singapore and the UK, and represented these countries in international competitions. She is also a stand-up comedian.
She ran Story Slam Singapore, a true life storytelling event that ran from 2014 to 2018, and currently runs a poetry night called Spoke & Bird.
She has featured at the George Town Literary Festival, the Melbourne Spoken Word Festival and the Glastonbury Festival among many others, and has toured Australia, Germany and North America with her poetry. Her writing has been published in various local and international journals and anthologies. She is the co-editor of EXHALE, Singapore’s newest anthology of LGBTQ writing, due to be published in mid-2021. Her first collection, Roadkill for Beginners, was published by Math Paper Press.
