Things to Note

Admittance Rules

All participants are required to purchase tickets for admission.
Admission is subject to proof of tickets purchased.
Participants without a valid ticket will not be permitted to join the programme.
Please note that each $15 ticket only admits ONE participant.

Age Recommendations

This programme is recommended for ages 15 years and above.

Meeting Point

The programme will start at the Esplanade. The meeting point is at the Esplanade Concert Hall Meeting Point, Level 1.

Arrival + Registration + Audio Guides

Please arrive 10-mins before the start of the event for registration, and collection of your audio guide device.

Latecomer’s Cue

Latecomers are to meet at the Esplanade Concert Hall Meeting Point, Level 1 for registration, where our crew will guide you to the tour’s ongoing location. Please inform us via Peatix if you are delayed.

Things to Note

Participants will be walking and standing for around 45 minutes for this event. As such, comfortable footwear is advised. As the walk will take place outdoors along the Singapore River, participants are also advised to apply sunscreen, to bring a hat, and stay hydrated by bringing a water bottle. Please bring an umbrella or poncho.

Please travel light as there is no bag-drop facility at the start of the event (Esplanade), as the walk ends at a different venue (The Arts House).

Wet Weather Plan

In the event of light rain, the Story Walk will proceed as planned. In the event of inclement weather, the programme will be conducted indoors at The Arts House. Participants are advised to check StoryFest’s social media for more updates on the day.

Photography & Video Recording Guidelines

Unauthorised video and audio recording is not permitted for this event.
Photography without flash and without disrupting the artists/event is permitted within reason.

Refunds

Strictly no refunds, and no exchanges of tickets.

As we journey back to The Arts House, we'll also revisit the original three benches – Re-Store/Neural Artefact Black, A Micropolyphonic Stage, and This is Not a Bench – for a brief recap that connects the narrative of all six Benchmarks art benches.

Accessibility

The walking path is wheelchair friendly. Please note that we will be passing through a small tunnel along Queen Elizabeth Walk before heading to the Asian Civilisations Museum, and visibility may be low in the evening as the tunnel is dimly lit.
